So, today I decided to write a blog. Not necessarily a blog, more of a journal. A journal that I have tried to write a long time ago and have started and stopped since I was little. I am thinking that since I spend so much time on the computer, this might be easier.
Currently I am finishing up my sophomore year of college. Or maybe not. Nobody seems to understand what it takes to see where you are at in college. College is an interesting waste of time and money I feel. The sucky thing is that I have learned the hard way, that it is necessary. I worked for Express Scripts for 6 years. From the time I was 22 until I was 28. Gained a lot of work experience, worked with some talented people and even moved to another state. (Missouri). All was for nothing because I did not have a college degree. So, if you are reading this, GO TO COLLEGE EARLY!! Don't think that you are going to make it somewhere in corporate America without a college degree. They may tell you there are opportunities, like I was told, but one day you will see the door is closed on any promotional opportunities.
As for my personal life, I have been married for almost 9 years and have two sons. One who is 6 turning 15 and the other who is 3 turning into big brother!! They keep me on my toes! I am so grateful for the joy they bring to my life. It is in those simple moment of laying on the couch next to them or hearing them laugh that makes all the crazy days worth it. My wife is the money maker for our household. Talk about a hard pill to swallow! She is very dedicated to her job and is good at what she does. She yearns for another child. I would like one also, but being a full time student and managing two boys already, I am terrified to bring in another newborn to the mix. We will see with time of course. Anyway, got to get my crazy day started!!
